Recruitment for Employers
OAI has assisted public and private businesses recruit experienced, qualified individuals through our training programs, job fairs, and industry referrals. Our partnerships with other prominent community organizations and industry-specific action groups increase our reach and resource base for trained workers.

Employers see us as an extension of their own human resource functions and a partner in building a competitive workforce. OAI Job Development Specialists work with employers to screen the best candidates for the positions. Whether you require individuals who have a Lead Abatement License or can type 90 words a minute, OAI can screen and deliver qualified employees.

Smaller companies especially do not have the time or money to spend on recruiting workers. Going through hours of resumes and interviews with only a few really qualified workers cuts down your productivity. OAI cuts out the difficult steps of recruitment and allows you to interview a pre-screened group of individuals who already meet your basic requirements. Since OAI is funded by many federal, state or local grant sources, we can perform many of these services free of charge or on a subsidized basis.
